FLAVOUR SAFARI VEGETARIAN SPICY TOMATO PASTA

Preparation Time: 10mins / Cooking Time: 10-12 mins / Serves: 4

INGREDIENTS
350g Fusilli Pasta
Any diced Vegetables you Prefer.
We have used:
Diced Courgette
Diced Red Onion
Diced Red Pepper
Diced Yellow Pepper
Sliced Mushrooms
Diced Sundried Tomatoes (Optional)

HOW TO PREPARE
Cook your Pasta in Boiling Salted Water until Al Dente 7-11 mins (Depending on your preference) Meanwhile, add half a teaspoon of Rapeseed oil to a large hot Pan and on a high heat, Stir Fry your Vegetables for 2-3 mins until softened and lightly Golden in colour.
Add 1 Jar of Flavour Safari Spicy Tomato Sauce and leave to simmer for 5-7 mins. Drain your Cooked Pasta and toss into the simmering Flavour Safari Sauce with Vegetables and stir.
Ensure your Pasta is piping hot before serving.
Serve with a Fresh Green Salad for a delicious Vegetarian Meal!

FLAVOUR SAFARI SPAGHETTI BOLOGNESE

Preparation Time: 10mins / Cooking Time: 10-12 mins / Serves: 4

INGREDIENTS
500g of lean Minced/Ground Beef
1 Large Red Onion, Diced
2 Cloves of Garlic, Peeled & chopped/Crushed
Diced Red Bell Peppers(Optional)
Diced Courgette(Optional)
Sliced Mushrooms
Dried or Fresh Spaghetti

HOW TO PREPARE
Sautee your Minced/Ground Beef with your chopped Garlic for 5-7mins.
Add diced Red Onion and continue to cook until Onion has softened and Beef is thoroughly cooked.
Depending on your preference, you can add your diced Vegetables earlier and cook until softened or add just after your Beef is thoroughly cooked.
Once you have added your Vegetables of choice and cooked thoroughly, add 1 Jar of Flavour Safari Spicy Tomato Sauce and allow to simmer for 5-10mins.
Cook your desired amount of Spaghetti in boiling ,salted water until al dente, 7-10mins. Serve with your Spaghetti and Homemade Garlic Bruschetta made with Flavour Safari Pesto Product.

FLAVOUR SAFARI PIZZA

Preparation Time: 10mins / Cooking Time: 10-12 mins / Serves: 6-8

INGREDIENTS
1 shop bought Large Thin Pizza Base (or indeed a Freshly made one would be great if time allows)
1 Jar of your Favourite Flavour Safari Sauce
1 Ball of Fresh Mozzarella Cheese
1 Small Jar of Sundried Tomatoes
Small Bunch of Fresh Basil(Optional)

HOW TO PREPARE
Preheat your Oven to 220°C/425° F /Gas Mark 7.
Place your Pizza Base onto a Cool Flat Baking Tray.
Top your Pizza Base with your Flavour Safari Sauce and spread with the back of a Large Spoon, leaving approx an inch of Crust.
Top with your Sliced Mozzarella and Sundried Tomatoes and a Scattering of Torn Fresh Basil.
Bake in the preheated Oven for approx 10-12 mins or until the Cheese is Bubbling and the Pizza is Crisp and Golden.
Serve with a crisp green Salad of your choice!

FLAVOUR SAFARI HOMEMADE GARLIC BRUSCHETTA

Preparation Time: 10mins / Cooking Time: 3-5 mins / Serves: 8

INGREDIENTS
1 Fresh Baguette of your Choice
1 Jar of Flavour Safari Pesto
60g of Butter (Softened-at room temperature)
100g Cheese(Grated Mozzarella or Monetary Jack/Cheddar work well)-Optional

HOW TO PREPARE
Pre-heat your Grill to high.
Pre Slice your Baguette to approx 3/4 of an Inch Thickness.
Mix 2-3 Teaspoons of your Flavour Safari Pesto into your Softened Butter.
Spread your Flavoured Butter onto each slice of Baguette and top with your favourite Cheese.
Reduce your Grill Heat to medium and grill for 3-4 mins until your Cheese is Melted and Golden and your Bruschetta are Crisp.
Serve Immediately with a Light Salad or as an Ideal Accompaniment to Spaghetti Bolognese made with Flavour Safari Spicy Tomato Sauce…

FLAVOUR SAFARI COTTAGE PIE

Preparation Time: 10mins / Cooking Time: 40-45 mins / Serves: 4

INGREDIENTS
500g extra-lean Minced Beef
1 clove Garlic, peeled & crushed
1 large Red Onion, peeled & chopped
2 Carrots, washed & diced
For the Mashed Potato Topping:
500g Potatoes, peeled & cut into chunks
225g Carrots, peeled & diced
A small amount of Butter or Milk if you prefer for Mashing.

HOW TO PREPARE
Heat a large non-stick frying pan and add the mince. Fry for approximately 6mins, stirring occasionally, until browned. Add the garlic, onion and carrots and cook for a further 2mins. Add one Jar of your Favourite Flavour Safari Sauce and allow to simmer for 5 mins.
 Meanwhile, cook the potatoes in a large pan of lightly salted water for 15mins or Steam if you prefer, until tender. Drain well (If cooked in water) and mash with butter or a small amount of Milk if you prefer for a smoother Mash. Cover and place to one side.
 Spoon the mince into a large shallow dish, then top with the Mashed Potato, either smoothing the surface or Piping for a Decorative Effect! Place under a preheated grill for roughly 4-5mins or until the top is a rich golden brown and slightly crisp. Serve Hot accompanied by your favourite vegetables.

FLAVOUR SAFARI BAKED SPICY OLIVE AND TOMATO SALMON WITH LEMON & HERB CRUMB

Preparation Time: 10mins / Cooking Time: 10-12 mins / Serves: 4

INGREDIENTS
4 Salmon Darnes
1 Jar Flavour Safari Spicy Olive and Tomato Sauce
Fresh Breadcrumbs
Zest of 1 Lemon
Half Teaspoon of Fresh Parsley, Fresh Rosemary and Fresh Thyme.
Half a teaspoon of Rapeseed Oil (to coat foil)

HOW TO PREPARE
Preheat Oven to 180°C. Breadcrumb Topping: Mix together the Breadcrumbs, Lemon Zest, Fresh Parsley, Fresh Rosemary and Fresh Thyme. Lightly toast for 1-2 minutes on high heat in a dry Pan until golden Brown. This dry toasting will allow the natural oils of the Zest & Herbs to infuse with the Breadcrumbs. Remove from Pan and Set aside. Lightly oil some Baking Foil and use to line a Baking Tray. Place the Salmon Darnes ,skin side down onto the oiled foil. Top each Salmon Darne with 2-3 spoonfuls of Flavour Safari Spicy Olive & Tomato Sauce. Sprinkle the top of each Salmon Darne with a generous handful of your cooled Lemon & Herb Breadcrumb topping and gently pat down to secure in place. Loosely cover with foil and bake in the Preheated oven for 15mins, then uncover and bake for approx 20 mins more until fish flakes easily and is cooked thoroughly. Serve with a Light Salad or a Herb Couscous
for a more filling meal.
